chips to edge, o.a. good Opalescent
white jade carving of Happy Buddha with a child on his shoulder. Quite old and
somewhat worn from handling, summarily carved on luminous material which, when
held up to the light reveals an inner glow that tints the figures with the pale
peach tone of flesh. A highly auspicious amulet, carved on the back with an open
lotus leaf.
