Ivory two halved Manju doubles as ashtray. Unusually large, a dragon emerges through cloud cover over a turbulent sea etching. A worn tabakoire attached by a heavy chain is complete with large silver dragon kanagu, the dragon positioned defensively, as if guarding entrance to the pouch. Etching of persimmons decorate the ojime, while three eyelets, visible from the inside of the pouch, continue to hold the chain firm and tight. Perhaps one of the more unique features of this piece is the dual purpose manju, easily splitting open to reveal an ashtray.
