Condition: very good

Though little is known of his life, Gyokuseki's netsuke are well recorded. A smooth cream colored ivory noh mask of Okame, the Japanese Goddess of Mirth, the laughing face stained with sumi and traces of brown and red pigment, parallel hairlines in arcs, himotoshi a single hole formed by undercutting the at the back of the material.
