Condition:
one minor age cracks, o.a. good An
exceptionally well carved piece in a fine section of ivory, with three tigers
climbing up the handle. Material is marked with striations and shows a golden
patina of age. A powerfully rendered tiger at the top looks down on the two animals
below it; all are depicted with rhythmic lines of fur, deep set eyes and curling
tails.
