An antique carved rootwood sky dragon, wonderfully preserved with all its intricacies intact; in a reddish finish showing the twisting body covered with overlapping scales and ending in a flying fishtail, the spitting dragon surrounded by wispy clouds in which is hidden a fiery wish-fulfilling gem which he grasps at with one of his four-toed claws. A curvilinear piece eighteen inches long, mounted on a wood base.
