H 11.75 in (30cm), W 11 in (28cm), D 4 in (10cm)

The Bodhisattva of Wisdom is seated in a diamond position, with eyes downcast steadily gaze downward. Holding the double-edged wisdom sword that eliminates ignorance in his right hand, his left hand gently held the stem of a lotus that winds over his shoulder, where the Prajnaparamita Sutra (Book of Divine Wisdom) rests in the lotus blossom. The face of Manjushri is in cold gold with a serene, smiling expression. He wears a five-pronged crown, with finely incised dark blue hair that flows to both sides of the Bodhisattvas' shoulders, framing the youthful figure of the Bodhisattva. This fine statue of Manjushri is full of radiance. The crisp features of this statue with richly gilded gold and copper is an excellent example of the superb Tibetan sculptural technique following the centuries-old Tibetan Buddhist traditions.
