This copper-alloy gilt-bronze representation of Akshobhya serves as a devotional yidam, radiating integrity and aesthetic refinement. The Unshakable Buddha is depicted seated upright in the full lotus posture on a lotus throne. His left hand rests in his lap, holding a patra filled with nectar, while his right hand extends downward in the Bhumisparsha Mudra-calling the earth to witness. The figure displays the idealized features of youth, with hair pigmented in sky blue and arranged in rows of tiny curls that culminate in a tall chignon atop a high-domed ushnisha. He is attired in a shoulder sanghati that reveals a bare torso, with a sacred scarf draped across his back; the golden hem of his lower garment is intricately embroidered with foliate motifs. The Buddha is seated on a pedestal embossed with eleven upturned lotus petals, and the base is finished with a copper plate later covered in red felt. This bronze Akshobhya exemplifies the transmutation of delusion into 'Mirror-like Wisdom' and stands as a distinguished example of Tibetan Buddhist sculpture.
